Brichlor Chlorine Granules

At the start of the season or at intervals after back washing add Chlorine Granules to raise the free chlorine level to 4-5ppm. To increase level by 1mg/l (ppm) add 1.8g of chlorine granules to 1000 litres of pool water. Test the free chlorine level residual throughout the day. If the reading falls below 1.5mg/l make a further addition of chlorine granules to water to raise the free chlorine level at the begining of each day 2.0-2.5mg/l (ppm). APPLICATION: Sprinkle the chlorine granules into circulating water near the return inlets. For cold water (below 20C) or non-circulating water pre-dissolve granules in a plastic bucket and add slowly and evenly into the pool.

Briswim Alkali

Pool Treatment: A dose rate of 60g/22,000 gallons (100 cubic metres) of pool water is a guide. Use pH Plus to maintain a pH reading between pH 72.-7.8, ideally 7.4-7.6. The quantity of pH Plus required may vary according to the Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness factors of the pool/spa water. Additions of pH Plus should continue daily until the p H is satisfactory. At least 12 hours and preferably 24 hours, should be allowed between doses and further test kit readings, to allow thorough mixing of the adjustment materials. If the pH falls below 7.2, dissolve the required dose of pH Plus in a clean, plastic container of water. When dissolved add the solution into the pool evenly to ensure good mixing.

Briswim Dry Acid

Recommended pH of pool water is pH 7.2 to pH 7.6. When the pH rises above 7.6, the water becomes alkaline and chlorine sanitation is reduced. The water tends to become cloudy with a smell of chlorine, eye irritation and a scale build-up may also occur. Above Ground Pools/Spa treatment: Test the pH and chlorine/bromine daily using a suitable test kit. At a pH reading of 7.8, add 60g of pH Reducer per 1000 litres. Add directly to the pool/spa water, allow water to circulate for 1 hour and retest. Add more pH Reducer as required.

Briswim Long-Life Algicide

To control most algae problems in chlorine treated pool and spa water throughout the spring and summer. Pool treatment: Test pool water daily with a suitable test kit. Adjust pool water to Ph 7.4 - 7.6 and Free Chlorine to 2-3ppm. Dose pool water at 500ml/10 cubic metres (2200 gallons). Add the required dose near the return inlets in the evening to allow thorough mixing overnight.
